On the First Thursday of every month at 11:30 EST ADHCE provides a networking opportunity to members and interested guests. The monthly meeting includes presentations around current topics of interest, advocacy, and announcements for upcoming events. You can also learn more about the organization and the wonderful work of its members. Students are welcomed.
Partnering to Transform Health Outcomes with Persons with Intellectual and Developmental Disabilities (PATH-PWIDD)
Phase 3: Use of Collective Impact Model.

PATH-PWIDD is guided by concepts of participatory action using the Collective Impact Model as the organizing model. Presentation will include:
1. What is the Collective Impact model?
2. How we used Collective Impact Model and combined it with concepts of participatory action to set up our program leadership and organizational structures for PATH-PWIDD (phase 1)
3. How we accomplished phase 1 and developed a suite of educational and practice materials that were integrated into interprofessional education programs at institutions in the consortium (phase 2)
4. How we are using Collective Impact Model in Phase 3 - Dissemination
Speaker: Sarah H. Ailey PhD RN FAAN is a Professor of Nursing at Rush University in Chicago, IL. She is the mother of a middle-aged son who has intellectual disabilities and her professional work is linked to lived experiences. She is the Principal Investigator for the PATH-PWIDD (Partnering to Transform Health Outcomes with Persons with Intellectual and Developmental Disabilities) Program (path-pwidd.org), funded through a 5-year grant from the Administration for Community Living. She is the immediate past President of the Alliance for Disability in Health Care Education (ADHCE.org).
