Why Donate?

The Alliance (ADHCE) is a non-profit organization, and its members provide national and

international leadership by producing disability inclusive scholarly contributions. Our Monthly

ADHCE Lectures/ Meetings and Annual Conferences support disability study curriculum by

producing additional resources that are added to our abundant RESOURCE section; reflecting

disability-related theory, research, clinical learning content and lived disability experiences for

health care training.

Student Scholarships in Disability Research:

For many years, The Alliance for Disability in Healthcare Education (ADHCE) has offered

multiple scholarships ($500-$2,000) to each student or groups of healthcare students (any

discipline). Awarded research/programs/projects utilize principles of the ADHCE Core

Competencies for disability curriculum and address improving equity in disability healthcare

education.

Website Development

We continuously are upgrading our interactive website to better represent our mission, vision, values and principles. Our members’ contributions help to pay for our only paid person whose Website work facilitates the dissemination of our relevant Resources Section and supports all of our program materials posted on our website.

Your membership and donations are tax deductible as we are a “501 (c) (3) Public

Charity” organization and allow payment of the many ongoing expenses in operating this

organization. Your support is greatly appreciated!
